Richmondshire Darts Open

Early in the day at the darts open

Early in the day at the darts open

On the 11th April, Richmondshire Cricket Club was filled by players and spectators, as no less than 55 players competed for the Richmondshire Darts Open.

The stage was set for Paul Knighten and Matty Peary in the final, after they beat George Davidson and Tom Flint in the semi-finals. Paul Knighten overcame the challenge and was crowned the Open's Champion.

The day wasn't just about the competition, however, with a 104-prize charity raffle raising at least £540 for Epilepsy Research, at last count.

We'd like to thank all sponsors and raffle donors for helping to make the event such a success, and all of the players for bringing their darting skills to the club.

Mark the 19th March 2016 in your calendar, as the Richmondshire Darts Open will return next year.
