(Sat) 1st XI v Marske (a) - winning draw
Richmond's top 3 all got starts in the first innings, but were perhaps struggling at 74-4 before a partnership between Mike Fleming (35) and Steve Mather (22) lifted them to 116-5. Sam Wood then added 22 and Toby Bulcock top-scored from number 8 with 48 from 37 balls, taking the total to 197-8. The conditions proved beneficial to spin for Richmondshire, with spin duo Craig Marshall and Toby Bulcock taking 3-43 and 4-50 respectively, in addition to 2-28 for part time spinner Gary Pratt. Unfortunately, the final wicket eluded Richmond as Marske held out for the draw with 149-9.
(Mon) 1st XI v Marton (a) - won
Gary Pratt's 74 provided the biggest individual share of Richmond's 207-9 from 36 overs. Mike Layfield, Steve Mather and Sam Wood chipped in with useful twenties. In reply, only two Marton batsmen made double figures as they were rolled for 51. Craig Marshall tore through the batting order with 5-21. Also in the wickets were Sam Wood (2-5) and Toby Bulcock (2-12).
2nd XI v Thornaby (h) - lost
The 2s posted 186-8 from their 50 overs, with Jack Rowett top-scoring with 78 including 11 4s. Adam Langhorne made the next highest score with 29, followed by Josh Dowson with 24. The score gave Richmond a chance, but Gaz Wood's 2-57 provided the only Thornaby wickets Richmondshire would take, as they strolled home for an 8 wicket win from 36.1 overs.
