1st XI v Hartlepool (a) - no result
The 1sts travelled to Hartlepool to face former teammates Shani Dissanayake and Lewis Stabler. Batting first, they had reached 61-1 after 18 overs before the rain ended play of the day. Neither side had made any bonus points so both took 6 points.
With third placed Barnard Castle now mathematically out of the running, Richmondshire are at the top of the Premier League table with an 18 point margin separating them and Great Ayton. 8 points from their final game (at home) would guarantee the league title.
2nd XI v Blackhall (h) - no result
Abandoned without a ball bowled.
3rd XI v Barnard Castle III (h) - winning draw
Clive Layfield's run-a-ball 110 not out was undoubtedly the highlight of Richmondshire's innings. He was supported by twenties from Sam Winter (24) and Jordan Moss (20) before Toby Lush stuck at the crease with him, scoring 59. Richmondshire finished on 250-5. Barnard Castle opener Darryn Bancroft looked a class act but Richmond would have felt they had a chance of victory after James Kelly dismissed him for 87. James impressed with 3-39 from 12 overs, but despite Harvey Websdale's full and straight bowling removing 2 tail enders, Richmondshire were 2 wickets short of victory, as Barney finished 190-8.
4th XI v Barningham (a) - no result
Match abandoned without a ball bowled.
5th XI v Trimdon CCA II (h) - lost
In a shortened match, the 5s posted a distinctly chase-able 101-8, Jeff Stead salvaging a score with 50. Cameron Spence and Sam Potter bowled well in the chase, taking 1-14 and 1-22 respectively, but this was not enough to trouble the visitors who were 3 down when they passed Richmondshire's score.
