1st XI v Stokesley (h) - won
The firsts hosted Stokesley in their final fixture of the season. The visitors batted first and got off to a quick start, before captain Gary Pratt turned to the spin of Toby Bulcock, who took 4-42. Gary also took the ball himself in the absence of spin bowler Craig Marshall, taking 2-42. Stokesley finished on a strong but reachable 201-9. Andy Fleming made 19 before he was bowled, but his opening partner Gary Pratt made 77 from 89 balls, seeing off a good chunk of the target. He and Robert Carr took the score past the 150 needed for the guarantee of the league title, Bob Carr making 60, his highest score of the season. Toby Bulcock hit the winning runs with a 4 to see Richmondshire win by 4 wickets and take the league title for the third time in four years.
2nd XI v Sedgefield (a) - lost
Richmondshire's bowlers toiled as they were unable to get rid of Durham Academy player Luke Henderson, who carried his bat for 94. Josh Dowson was probably the pick of the bowlers with his tidy spell of 1-13 but Richmondshire only managed 6 wickets, two of them run outs. Jack Rowett fell LBW early and the innings never really picked up. Again, Josh Dowson was probably the pick of the players with 33 but in a score of 135-9 he was somewhat lacking in competition. Thanks to a long last wicket stand between Michael Platt and Tom Dowson, Richmond held on for the draw.
