The club currently has 5 adult teams playing on weekends, ranging from the highly competitive first team, who hope to add to the league titles they won in 2012 and 2013, to the much more casual 5th XI. In addition to this, the club has a Midweek Team playing 20 over cricket.
The 1st XI consistently finishes towards the top of the NYSD Premier League.
Captain - Gary Pratt
- 2014 - 2nd NYSD Premier League
- 2015 - 1st NYSD Premier League
- 2016 - 5th NYSD Premier League
Testament to the club's strength in depth, the 2nd XI plays just 1 division below the 1st XI in the NYSD Division 1.
Captain - Tom Stockton
- 2014 - 5th NYSD Division One / Best 2nd XI
- 2015 - 7th NYSD Division One / Best 2nd XI
- 2016 - 7th NYSD Division One / Best 2nd XI
A developmental side playing in the NYSD Sunday Division 1, the 3rds are still no strangers to silverware, winning the Arthur Sanders Cup (a 20 over competition), and finishing in 2nd place in the Sunday League. The primary goal of this team is development of young players.
Captain - Dave Moffatt
- 2014 - 2nd NYSD Sunday Div 1
- 2015 - 5th NYSD Sunday Div 1
- 2016 - 3rd NYSD Sunday Div 1
Home to numerous club "veterans" (or "legends" if you're generous), the 4th XI won promotion to the top of the Darlington and District League pyramid in 2013 and now plays in the A Division.
Captain - Andy Dade
- 2014 - 8th Darlington & District Division A
- 2015 - 9th Darlington & District Division A
- 2016 - 9th Darlington & District Division A
The presence of 5 adult teams makes the club unique in the area. The 5th XI offers more casual cricket, with family members often on the same team. After achieving promotion in 2016, the 5th XI will play in Division B, meaning all 5 men's weekend teams are in the highest division they can be.
Captain - ?
- 2014 - 5th Darlington & District Division C
- 2015 - 6th Darlington & District Division C
- 2016 - 2nd Darlington & District Division C / PROMOTED
The Midweek XI offers midweek 20 Over 'fun' cricket against predominantly village teams, and is an extra opportunity to enjoy cricket at the club. The club's midweek team went unbeaten in 2014, winning the Wensleydale Evening Cricket League in the process.
Hurgill Road (Richmond)
The main ground is home to the clubhouse and is ably looked after by groundsman Geoff Thorpe. The ground has been known to hold upwards of 1000 people on sunny days, and is a very pleasant place to watch or play cricket, with grass banking or bench seating available all the way round the ground and a new patio area for the 2015 season. The bar is always open on match days, and drinks are available to take outside. The 1sts, 2nds and 3rds all play home games here, with midweek games taking place here where possible.
The 4ths and 5ths play at Richmond School, making use of the multisports pavilion by the astroturf pitch.

Club Captain, Gary Pratt
It is perhaps unfair on Gary that he is mainly remembered just for this moment, as he has played First Class cricket and enjoyed a successful Minor Counties career with Cumberland, whom he captains alongside his Richmondshire commitments. Gary has scored fairly incredible 4660 runs in his 3 seasons at the club so far, and we all hope - and expect - that he can continue this success in the future.
The club is grateful to the continued sponsorship from Irvings Estate Agents.
